LYNN — Members and coaches of the St. Mary’s mock trial team reprised their roles and discussed the team’s performance on Attorney James J. Carrigan’s LCTV show, “The American Dream,” this week.
The show is “designed to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how public and private policy is developed,” according to Carrigan.
During the show, members of the team reprised their roles for the mock trial. Tommy Shea presented the opening statement, Jeff Mulcahy reprised his role as Pat Lloyd, Marriella Rivera conducted the direct examination, Savas Trellopoulos conducted the cross-examination, and Abby Griffin presented the closing argument.
Carrigan also interviewed team members Lily Rice, Harmony Hope, Ashley Sherlock, Jake Dhingra, Luci Pelletier, Emily Le, Eliana Angeles, and Izmailin Reyes. In addition, the team’s coaches — Robert Logue, Attorney Michael Hill, and Carrigan himself — were in attendance.
“It was a true team effort this year,” Logue said to Carrigan. “I think that was the reason for the success we had, along with your expert advice and Mr. Hill’s expert advice.”
The show airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 7 a.m. on Comcast Channel 3 and Verizon Channel 38. It can also be watched online at www.Lynntv.org.
