LYNN — This Saturday, Cook Street Park will be privy to quite the party, as the inaugural Cook St. Park Community Fiesta kicks off.
Hosted by Ward Two Councilor Obed Matul, United Nations Community Development Corporation, and Kingdom Basketball, the fiesta includes youth basketball events, youth soccer activities, a fire truck, face painting, K-9 dog show, gardening tips, health tips, food, and much more.
The first annual fiesta starts at 10 a.m. and will go until 3 p.m.

Originally from the Black Hills in South Dakota, she went home after college to write for the region's local paper, The Black Hills Pioneer. Sidnee moved to Massachusetts in September 2023.
