Leon just completed his first season as Lynn Classical’s varsity baseball coach. The Rams made the state tournament with a 10-10 record. Here are his best of all time:

Player: Derek Jeter

Team: 1978 Boston Red Sox

Coach: Augie Garrido, the winningest coach in college baseball history who took Cal State Fullerton and Texas to national titles

Play: Carlton Fisk’s 1975 World Series home run

Rivalry: Red Sox-Yankees, specifically in the late 1970s

Uniform: University of North Carolina’s powder blue

Sports movie: “Bull Durham”
