Margi Flint’s Garden Concerts return in Marblehead

Sophia Harris

July 5, 2024 by Sophia Harris

MARBLEHEAD — Margi Flint’s Garden Concerts, which are held in her backyard, are returning. They will be held on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. at 10 Central St., starting on July 7.

Flint said reservations for the concerts are appreciated. She offers shaded seating and chairs, some of which have tables. Attendees can bring “beverages and nibbles,” she said.

The cost of the event is a donation to the musicians playing, and is $20 to $35 per person, depending on what attendees can afford. Kids can attend for $10 or for free.

To leave a donation, send a check with the chosen dates to:
Margi Flint
10 Central St.
Marblehead, MA. 01945

Alternatively, people can leave a note in Flint’s mailbox with the dates they will attend and the number of people in their party with a check or cash.

Attendees can also bring cash to the concert on the day it is scheduled. In the event of rain, Flint will make the decision to postpone the concert at noon on the day of the show. Parking is available on the even-numbered side of the street or at the Tucker Architecture lot next to her house.

The schedule for the concerts is as follows:
July 7: Bob Nietske and Sheryl Bailey
