LYNN — City Hall’s phone service experienced intermittent disruptions on Monday, which caused calls to the main line and some direct office numbers to not come through.
These issues were likely caused by the new phone service, New Horizon Communications, City Hall transitioned to on July 1.
“In speaking with the provider, they made adjustments and our understanding is that these issues have been resolved,” Jon Thibault, Mayor Jared Nicholson’s chief of staff, said.
He said that in the circumstance that callers experience issues reaching City Hall via phone again, people may contact City Hall staff through their email, through the See, Click, Fix app, or through the city’s website, lynnma.gov.
“We will continue to work with NHC to avoid any further issues,” Thibault added.
