This article was published 1 year(s) and 5 month(s) agoA little bit of rain never hurt Swampscott’s Little League All-Stars, who defeated Beverly, 7-4, at Harry Ball Field in Salem on Wednesday. The team returns to action Thursday against Acton-Boxboro in Section 4 play with first pitch slated for 7:30 p.m. In Wednesday’s action, Swampscott was ahead, 4-0, before the Panthers came pouncing back to tie it. From there, however, it was all Big Blue – capped off by Gavin Cerrutti scoring Johal Standal to make it 7-4 late.
