LYNN — The Lynn Continuum of Care (LCoC) announced the availability of grants to prevent and end homelessness through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the fiscal year 2024-2025 Continuum of Care Competition and the Renewal or Replacement of Youth Homeless Demonstration Program grants. The LCoC will accept and consider proposals from organizations not previously funded with CoC program funds. Organizations that have not received CoC funding in the past are encouraged to apply.
New projects
- Only these basic types of new projects are eligible: permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless and other specific high-risk populations, rapid rehousing, joint transitional housing and rapid rehousing, coordinated entry, and HMIS (Homeless Management Information System). The NOFO provides details on each of these.
- HUD also will consider applications that serve victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. These projects must be rapid rehousing, joint transitional housing and rapid rehousing, or coordinated entry.
