LTE: Vote for Jonathan Ring in the election for register of deeds

To The Editor

August 14, 2024 by To The Editor

To the editor:

As the Lynn Republican city chair, I proudly endorse Jonathan Ring for Southern Essex register of deeds. Jonathan’s extensive career in municipal government is a testament to his unwavering dedication to public service. His roles as a Rockport Historic District Commission member, Rockport registrar of voters, and as the commissioner of the Rockport Housing Authority, along with his successful election to the Housing Authority in 2016, demonstrate his commitment to serving the community. His management of a board overseeing a $3 million budget, his efforts in hiring a new executive director for the Housing Authority, and his initiatives to increase financial transparency and tenant participation in housing-board decisions all reflect his dedication to public service.

Jonathan has also served as a member of the Rockport Republican Committee for 20 years, winning six consecutive elected terms and topping the ticket in this year’s GOP primary. He has also served as chair of the Rockport GOP and has been instrumental in helping many candidates. In conclusion, I encourage all voters to consider Jonathan Ring for the register of deeds this fall.

Sincerely,

Maria Pia Perez
