Disturbances
A caller reported on Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. of youths approximately 40 feet up on the rock ledge near Dick’s Sporting Goods at 1201 Broadway yelling and causing a disturbance in the parking lot. The dispatched officer was unable to locate the youths.
A caller reported on Wednesday at 6:48 a.m. at Eliot Community Human Services that a female who is four months pregnant had been kicked in the stomach by a client. The dispatched officers reported that this was a verbal argument over coffee.
Suspicious Motor Vehicle
A caller reported on Tuesday on High Street at 8:04 a.m. that a man was sleeping in a vehicle outside of his house. The dispatched officer spoke with the man, who said he was an Uber driver who was napping, and waiting for traffic to ease.
A caller reported on Wednesday on Mountain Ave at 6:03 a.m. that a gray sedan had been parked down the street since 4 a.m. with just the lights on. Dispatched officers spoke with the occupant, who said he was there to see his girlfriend and waiting for her return.
Traffic/Motor Vehicle Complaint
A caller reported on Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. of a red truck that almost struck a child on a bicycle, which then drove up the curb in the area of Saugus Center turning onto Hamilton Street. An officer stopped the vehicle in front of the police station and spoke with the driver, who completed a field sobriety test and explained that he was exhausted. His wife picked him up.
