LYNN — The Lynn Greek Festival is taking place on Friday, Aug. 30; Saturday, Aug. 31; and Sunday, Sept. 1 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church. The festival evokes the sights, sounds, and tastes that define the traditional Greek way of life.

The hours for the festival will be from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 to to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 to 10 p.m. on Sunday. At night, searchlights in the sky will guide people to the festival.

For more than 50 years, the festival has been a part of the Lynn community and draws crowds from all over New England and beyond.

The festival’s raffle will have a $25,000 grand prize, a $2,000 second-place prize, and a $1,000 third-place prize.
