To the editor:
I view my voting not only as my civic duty but also as a reaffirmation of my citizenship. My voting is a reminder to me of the privileges and responsibility in being a citizen of the United States.
The daily news from around the world reaffirms the importance of being able to elect my government and reinforce the values I admire.
