Lynn – The Lynn Community Enrichment Program (LCEP) is still accepting registrations for its Fall 2024 session, offering a variety of skill-building and enrichment courses for adults.
Classes include Conversational Spanish, Entrepreneurship, Yoga, Pottery, ESL (English as a Second Language), Mindful Art Journaling, Financial Literacy, Home Health Care, How to Start a Non-Profit, Direct Health Aid, and Computer Applications in both Spanish and Haitian Creole.
Each course consists of 12 instructional hours over six weeks, with a total cost of $65. “Our mission is to empower adults with new skills, ultimately helping them enhance their job prospects and economic security,” said Tanveer Malik, executive director of the New Lynn Coalition.
Classes will primarily be held at the Lynn Vocational Technical Institute (LVTI) Annex and Pottery class at the Thurgood Marshall Middle School. Registration is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested individuals can enroll online at Registration Link.
