The Pioneers took on Rockport Monday morning and took care of business winning 4-0. Lynnfield’s own, Lauren MacDonald, registered her second consecutive shutout.
The game was scoreless at halftime, but after a few adjustments from Lynnfield, it scored three goals in the third quarter to take a commanding lead.
First, it was Cameron Munion getting on the scoresheet with an assist from Sophie Morgese. Then a minute later, Lauren Mattia doubled Lynnfield’s lead thanks to an assist by Lily Alves and Gia Marotta.
With 2:43 left in the third quarter, Mia Capodilupo (in her first varsity start) scored her first career goal from a Marotta and Alves assist.
Marotta got on the scoresheet in the fourth quarter from a Taylor Valiton assist.

The St. Mary’s field hockey team (11-3-1) continued to surge as it picked up win number 11 on the season with a 13-0 win over Arlington Catholic. At Manning Field, the Spartans showed no mercy against the Cougars.
Katy Sarazen and Ava Korisianos were on fire on Monday afternoon as the pair of them combined for six goals, each registering hat tricks.

Peabody 0
Masco secured another shutout with a 4-0 win over Peabody on Senior Day.
Mia Juliano scored a goal and provided an assist, while Mia Marques also scored and provided two assists in the win.
Peabody’s Sophia Kassis made 18 saves in net.

Manchester Essex 0
The Magicians get a solid win on the road against the Hornets.
Marblehead got its goals from Callie Gilmore through a free kick and a goal from Sammy Dosch. Gilmore’s goal came five minutes into the game to give Marblehead an early advantage. Dosch’s goal came from an assist by Cam O’Brien. For Gilmore, that’s her 10th goal of the season to go along with three assists for the sophomore midfielder.
Twin sister, Hailey Gilmore in goal made seven saves to preserve the shutout.
