To the editor:
As we are nearing Election Day, I would urge all voters to turn out and vote. I would also urge voters to carefully study the background, the positions candidates take on important issues for all levels of government, local, state, and federal.
Be careful of who wants to continue to tamper with women’s rights, who harp on cutting Medicare/Medicaid, and Social Security. Also those candidates who want to eliminate the Dept. of Education. Doesn’t that sound like a WWII dictator who placed a ban on books except those he wanted the German people to read? A candidate for VP who has stated if the election results this year are the same as 2020, he will support Trump over the U.S. Constitution.
There are clear choices in this election. Elect the above, or elect candidates who want to; unite America, keep Medicare/Medicaid, Social Security intact, protect women’s rights, are strong supporters of unions not union busters.
To all voters, take due notice of the candidates and their positions.
My choice, Harris/Walz, Sen. Warren, U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton. Vote on Nov. 5.
