Malden 1
Peabody capitalized on home turf to defeat Malden, 4-1. Amelia DiBattista ripped a hat-trick, Sophia Kassis made seven saves between the pipes, and both Daniella White (assist) and Emily Hefler (goal) got involved offensively.
“Amelia went on to score the winning and security goals in the second quarter,” said Peabody coach Jillian Tobin. “Emily Hefler knocked one home after a beautiful carry halfway through the fourth. The team played with joy and light, and it completely made the difference tonight.”
