To the editor:
The Peabody Council on Aging held a gala Halloween party at the Peter A. Torigian Senior Center Thursday, Oct. 31.
Music was provided by the all-volunteer band Golden Echoes. There was dancing, line dancing and a best costume contest. First prize went to the Joker. The meal consisted of beef tenderloin au jus with miniature baked potatoes and braised carrots. Dessert was cherry pie.
Thanks to staff and volunteers, everyone had a grand time. Hats off to Carolyn Wynn, Director; Laurie Nadeau, Activities Director; and Kat DeLomba, Volunteer Coordinator—all staff and volunteers.
