NAHANT — The Nahant Woman’s Club of the North Shore is bringing back one of the area’s most popular holiday traditions at the Nahant Town Hall on Saturday, Nov. 30.
The Woman’s Club will be hosting their 23rd annual Nahant Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. According to the press release, this is the group’s biggest fundraiser of the entire year.
The event, located at 334 Nahant Road, will feature over 35 artists and artisans presenting and selling a wide variety of items, including art, jewelry, children’s clothing, holiday items and more.
In addition to community members getting the chance to interact with artists and appreciate their work, the event will also include a silent-auction and the always-popular bake sale, where visitors will get to enjoy savory homemade foods and other unique treats.
After the event, the Woman’s Club will be donating proceeds from the Holiday Fair to local charities in efforts to support local women, families and children who may be in need throughout the holiday season.
Some proceeds will also be going towards two scholarships centered around art, and one scholarship based on academic excellence, which will be open to all local students.
