To the constituents of the Second Essex District:
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the constituents of the Second Essex District for once again placing your trust in me to serve as your state Senator.
It has been a privilege and an honor to work on behalf of and advocate for the diverse and resilient residents of Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, and Salem over these previous six terms. With input, engagement, and support from constituents on policy ranging from healthcare to education and everything in between, we have been able to make the Commonwealth and the Second Essex District a place where people can thrive while living happier and healthier lives.
Throughout this campaign, I have had the privilege of connecting with residents, businesses, and community leaders about the issues important to them. Whether it was at a senior center birthday celebration, a cutting for a new playground, or tabling an event, I valued each conversation and the opportunity to understand how I can best serve the needs of my constituents.
In this upcoming 2025–26 legislative session, I will continue to advocate for policies that will help enhance our schools, support our businesses, strengthen our healthcare, protect our environment, and lower costs for families.
No matter who you voted for, I am committed to making government work for you and to ensuring that all have the opportunity to have their voice valued and heard. It is through respect, understanding, and collaboration that our communities have the strength to face our greatest challenges.
Thank you again for placing your confidence in me to represent you in the Massachusetts State Senate. Please do not hesitate to reach out to my office or attend my monthly office hours in each community in the district, as well as virtually, with your questions, concerns, and ideas. I look forward to our continued work together.
Sincerely,
State Senator Joan B. Lovely
Second Essex District
