The “American dream” looks different for everyone.
For some, it is retirement in the sunny southern states or along the coast.
But for many immigrants, the “American dream” is simply providing for their family.
A single mom immigrated to America to find a better life for her children. That was her “American dream” — providing for her family.
“I work as many hours as possible, but never seem to make ends meet,” the single mom wrote in her letter. “With rent, food, bills, transportation, my finances are a very heavy burden.”
She is asking Item Santa for one thing — to help bring her children joy this holiday season.
Every child deserves the joy of unwrapping a present this holiday season, and every mom deserves the happiness of seeing her children live the better life that she works every day to provide.
Item Santa needs your help to provide her and her children with a memorable holiday season filled with smiles.
