Many people across the world are getting ready to celebrate the holidays with their families and loved ones. One way people express their love is by gift-giving. Each year, with the economic climate the way it is, it gets harder for people to buy presents for their families.
It might be the festive season, but it’s also the season to give back to others. This mother needs help to put a smile on her children’s faces.
“I am writing to see if I can get help this Christmas for my kids,” she said. “I’m on a limited income and at this time during the holidays, it is very hard to provide for my family.”
Seeing children open presents and seeing the gifts Santa left them is priceless. Nothing beats the feeling of kids running to the Christmas tree to open presents and seeing their faces light up when they see the gift they asked for be in their hands.
This mother isn’t asking for a lot, in fact, she knows it’s a difficult time for a lot of people.
“Anything that I can get would help,” she said.
It’s important as a community to help each other and there’s no better time than the holiday season.
