SWAMPSCOTT — Paws Forever Dog Grooming by Flor opened its newest location at 646 Humphrey St. on Monday.

Business owner Flor Gomez celebrated the grand opening of her new dog-grooming center after expanding from its headquarters in Revere, at 318 Squire Road.

Emily Gomez, Flor Gomez’s daughter, said the idea for the original business in Revere came out of nowhere. Flor Gomez began operating directly out of her home. As the amount of her customers began to grow, Paws Forever opened its first location on Squire Road.

Flor Gomez’s goal in Swampscott is to branch out and help an entirely new community with her services, her daughter said.

Paws Forever offers a variety of services with a focus on full grooming. The service aims to cover every aspect of pet maintenance, including a bath with shampoo and conditioner, a blow dry, a nail trim, ear cleaning, and a haircut and style.

“She’s really looking forward to taking her talents to a new neighborhood and showing everyone what’s up,” Emily Gomez said.

For more information, Flor Gomez can be reached at 857-251-7594, or at [email protected].
