It may be winter, but Christmas is a holiday that brings out tremendous warmth in everyone. And while Christmas has something to offer people of all ages, it is an especially magical time of the year for children.
There are very few things that can replicate the exhilaration and anticipation that children wake up with Christmas morning. However, the most valuable gift they receive on Christmas Day is not the presents waiting for them under the tree, but the priceless memories they forge with their families as they open presents. These are the kinds of moments that you hold onto for life. And these are the kinds of moments that every child deserves to experience.
Unfortunately, not every child is able to enjoy a complete Christmas. With the Christmas season in full swing, it is important to recognize the importance of giving and looking out for one’s wider community.
This year, one low-income family is looking for help to give their children a brighter Christmas morning. “[We hope] their wishes can come true and they can have a happy Christmas,” they said.
