MARBLEHEAD — Santa and Mrs. Claus welcomed families and their pets to the Marblehead Arts Association (MAA) on Sunday, encouraging them to spread joy while also supporting an important cause for many people.

The event aimed at raising funds for the American Cancer Society and brought residents together in a show of generosity, compassion, and community.

It took place at the MAA’s gallery and provided an opportunity for families to enjoy the magic of the season while contributing to a meaningful cause. Participants had the chance to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who were dressed in their holiday best and ready to create lasting memories with attendees of all ages.

In addition to families, pet owners had the opportunity to bring their furry friends to meet the jolly couple, creating a unique and delightful experience for everyone.

Marblehead residents showed their generosity by posing for photos and sharing festive cheer. Many donated to the American Cancer Society, helping fund critical cancer research and provide support for those affected by the disease.

Local businesses also contributed to the success of the event, with several offering donations or providing services to ensure the day was a festive and fun experience for all attendees. The partnership between the MAA, local residents, and the American Cancer Society showcased the power of community collaboration.

As the day came to a close, the event raised significant funds for cancer research, helping to advance the fight against cancer and improve the lives of those affected by the disease.

For those who were unable to attend, but wish to contribute, donations to the American Cancer Society can be made directly through its website.

The Marblehead community’s support for the American Cancer Society served as an example of how local gatherings can not only bring people together, but also support vital causes that touch so many lives.
