It was a happy Friday for Lynn Tech’s girls basketball team, which delivered in front of the home faithful with a monstrous 47-23 win against Innovation Academy Charter School.
Engelyz Bingham kicked off the new year with, frankly, the same results. The do-it-all Tiger scored 11 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
But Tech’s offense was on full display from beginning to end. Also contributing were Allison Morales (11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks), Jaylianniez Beauchamp (6 points, 5 steals, 2 assists), Cassidy Caled (5 points, 7 rebounds), and Elena Bishop (4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks).
Tech stands at 4-2 with wins against Nashoba Valley, KIPP Academy, and Innovation (0-6) twice after December’s 68-25 road win. Grace Calvagno led Innovation with seven points, seven rebounds, and four assists on Friday.
