The undefeated (5-0) Big Blue picked up a road win against a tough Saugus side on Monday evening. Swampscott was led by Connor Chiarello who exploded for 34 points.
Swampscott got double-digit points from Michael Lutko (16 points) and Teddy O’Neil (10) to balance the Big Blue’s offense.
For Saugus, Cam Victor led the way with 19 points. Huey Josama scored 10 while teammate Ryan Dupuy chipped in with nine points.
The Big Blue will look to extend their winning streak to six on Tuesday when they host Lynn Classical at 7 p.m. The Sachems will travel to Masconomet on Thursday for a 7 p.m. game.

Cardinal Spellman 56
It’s hard to beat a team twice in one season, let alone twice in four days. After a 58-29 win against Cardinal Spellman on the road on Friday, the Spartans welcomed the Cardinals to the Tony C. Gymnasium on Monday where the Spartans won by double digits yet again.
The Spartans were led by two underclassmen in freshman Jake Fortier (21 points) and JJ Martinez (16).

Swampscott 23
In a defensive battle, it was the Sachems who prevailed on the road against a talented Swampscott side.
Saugus’ junior Peyton DiBiasio scored a game-high 19 points including eight points in the fourth quarter to lead her team to victory. Taylor Deledi scored six points for the Sachems.
Swampscott was led by sophomore Cecilia Tripp with 9 points.

Marblehead 32
It was a team effort for the Tanners who got a big home win over the Magicians.
Aliana Ryan led the Tanners with 15 points and eight rebounds. Do-it-all senior Ally Bettencourt had eight points, five assists, and five steals.
Sophia Coburn was big on the glass registering 10 rebounds in the win.

Lynn 3
The Lynn Jets fell at home to a tough Medford side. The Jets trailed 5-3 before the Mustangs added a sixth goal through an open netter.
AJ Lopez did a bit of everything finishing the game with one goal and one assist.
Pedro Lopez and Tyler Whitten provided an assist in the loss.
Nicholas Denino finished the game with 27 saves.
Anthony Alessi and Kyle Furlong were the two other scorers for the Jets.
