Lynn Tech’s swimming and diving team took the pool for the first time since winter break. Despite some strong performances, the Tigers fell short, 96-82, against the three-team co-op of Innovation-Lowell Catholic-Nashoba.
Johndeiry Cespedes placed first in the 50 freestyle and his diving event, while Hunter Flores finished first in the 200 individual medley. Also competing well was Addisyn Brown, who finished second in the 500 freestyle and her diving event.
Tech (1-2) also “saw some improvement in the 200 free relay,” according to coach John Hogan, after a second-place finish from Colin Newhall, Cespedes, Yerik Montalvan, and Brown.

Bishop Feehan 0
The Prep upped its record to 4-3 with a dominant home performance against Bishop Feehan. Luke Horenstein scored his first career goal, while Sam Croke netted a pair of goals.
TRACK AND FIELD
Lynn Tech’s boys (2-1) and girls (2-1) teams suffered their first losses of the season. Despite the defeats against Greater Lowell Tech, there were standouts from the Tigers. Jireilis De Jesus placed first in the 55-meter hurdles, high jump, and 300-meter, while Zahara Belizaire threw 29 feet (1st) for a new personal-best in shot put. Franklin Rodriquez and Dereon Phipps impressed on the boys’ side.
