LYNN — The Family Forward Resource Center (LFFRC) is determined to bring warmth to residents in need as the cold continues to grip the North Shore.
The LFFRC partnered with Anton’s Cleaners on Wednesday, who donated coats, jackets and other accessories to help out families and individuals in need. The donations will be given to Bridgewell’s Family Support Center on Jan. 25 at 12 p.m., according to the group’s post on Facebook. It is located at 66 Silsbee St.
At that time, jackets, hats, scarves and more will be handed out to residents on a “first come, first serve” basis.
The LFFRC is a program that provides members of the community access to family support services, according to its website. Any family member can walk through the organization’s doors and receive help on any issue related to human services. The philosophy of the LFFRC is “to do whatever it takes” to help the family better meet its needs, the website stated.
