To the editor:

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Kim Baker Donahue as a candidate for the Lynnfield School Committee. Since moving to Lynnfield in 2018, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Kim personally, and I believe she has exactly the qualities and experience needed to serve our schools and our community with distinction.

Kim is not just a friend; she’s a grounding presence and a voice of clarity and reason. Our regular coffee dates keep me connected to what’s happening in town, and through those conversations, I’ve come to deeply admire her unwavering commitment to Lynnfield. Having grown up here, Kim’s love for this town is evident in everything she does. She is invested in its future and cares deeply about ensuring the success of our schools and the well-being of our students.

Her professional background as a lawyer brings invaluable skills to the table. Kim has the ability to analyze complex issues, navigate challenging situations, and make sound, well-informed decisions. She understands how to listen to different perspectives and arrive at solutions that are both practical and fair. These qualities will enable her to address the unique challenges facing our schools with professionalism and efficiency.

Kim is thoughtful, approachable, and deeply committed to fostering a positive environment for Lynnfield families. She understands the importance of open communication and collaboration, ensuring all voices are heard. Her dedication to transparency and accountability will help strengthen trust between the school committee and the community it serves.

Above all, Kim is a problem-solver who leads with integrity. She is committed to maintaining the high standards of our schools while advocating for innovative ideas that can further enhance educational opportunities for all students. With her strong leadership skills, sharp intellect, and genuine care for our town, Kim is exactly who we need on the Lynnfield School Committee.

I encourage all Lynnfield residents to join me in voting for Kim Baker Donahue. Her love for this town, her professional expertise, and her commitment to making a positive impact make her an exceptional choice to represent us and advocate for our children.

Sincerely

Elissa Cooper

Lynnfield
