John Richards, 36, of Arlington Street, Everett, was arrested at 2 a.m. for charges including operating under the influence of liquor, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of property damage.
Brad Dyer, 38, of Forest Street, Peabody, was arrested at 8:46 a.m. on a warrant issued by another department.
Paul Sherry, 37, Trask Street, Danvers, was arrested at 3:16 a.m. for charges including leaving the scene of property damage, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), and operating under the influence of liquor (second offense).
Victor Eaton, 43, of Parsons Street, Peabody, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. on a warrant issued by the Peabody Police Department.
911 Hang-Ups
A 911 hang-up was reported at 12:38 p.m. at Lahey Medical Center. Security investigated and determined that a patient attempting to dial out had accidentally triggered the emergency call. No further action was needed.
Alarms – Burglar
Officers responded to several burglar alarms throughout the day. At 1:18 a.m., an alarm was triggered at Outback Steakhouse on Andover Street. Officers checked the building’s exterior and found it secure. Another alarm at Starbucks on Newbury Street at 4:03 a.m. was accidentally triggered by an employee.
Animal Control
A barking dog complaint was reported at 7:47 p.m. on Holten Street, where the caller stated the dog had been outside for over five hours. Officers contacted the homeowner, and the dog was brought inside without further issue.
Assist Citizens
At 10:20 a.m., officers assisted a resident on Calumet Street who reported a black pickup truck had crashed into their neighbor’s trash barrels. No cameras captured the incident, and officers documented the complaint.
Building Checks
Routine area checks were conducted at multiple locations, including Temple Ner Tamid on Lowell Street, Northshore Mall, and Bishop Fenwick High School. All properties were found secure.
Disturbances

Motor Vehicles
A two-car accident occurred at 96 Main Street at 1:22 p.m. No injuries were reported, but one vehicle was towed, and officers assisted the driver in getting home. A hit-and-run was reported at Preserve North Apartments on Crowninshield Street at 9:40 a.m., with officers documenting the damage.
Traffic enforcement resulted in multiple stops, including a verbal warning for a stop sign violation on Bartholomew Street at 10:39 a.m. and a written citation for failure to stop at a red light on Lynnfield Street at 7:42 p.m.
Suspicious Activity
A caller reported a possible drug trade occurring near Fairweather Apartments at 4:56 a.m. involving a white Chrysler. Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the occupants, who were waiting for their grandfather to wake up. The grandfather confirmed their identity, and no further action was needed.
Trespass Tows
Trespass tows were conducted at Preserve North Apartments on Warren Street, where two illegally parked vehicles were removed by Metro Towing.
Well-Being Checks
A well-being check was conducted at 9:56 p.m. on Bartholomew Street at the request of Danvers PD after a 911 hang-up involving an altercation inside a vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or individuals involved.
