To the editor:
I would like to thank everyone who cared for Jim Raynes.
Care Dimensions; home health aide Moses, home health aide Steve, Chaplain Pierre, nurse Charlene, and so many others. GLSS; case manager Lisa Murphy, Kathy with Meals on Wheels, Radicca with Associate Home Care, and homemaker Cathy Romeli.
There are so many that helped make a very difficult situation much brighter and more manageable.
Jim loved his home and we did our best to care for him at home. He spent the last few months of his life at Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody and the staff loved him.
So may he rest in peace — cancer is a very debilitating illness — thank you one and all.
Now it’s time for me to move on, I’m Jim’s ex-wife Josephine Russo Leonard, and I came back in 1999 until now.
