LYNN

 

Arrests

Gadiel Zevallos Melo, 28, of Laurel Street, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Wednesday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, failure to stop for police, leaving scene of property damage. 

Buldwin Jean-Louis, 46, of Washington Street, was arrested at 10 a.m. for a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. 

Carlos Perez Tapia, 40, of Henry Avenue, was arrested at 2:39 p.m. for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, unregistered motor vehicle, number plate violation, and registered motor vehicle improperly to avoid. 

Marvin Zacarias Tomas, 21, of Highland Avenue, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. for charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and window obstructed/nontransparent. 

Eric German-Pena, 25, of Bassett Street, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. for a charge of murder.

911 Hang-Ups

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street, 6:40 a.m. on Parkland Avenue, 6:40 a.m. on Parkland Avenue, 7:02 a.m. on Milton Street, 7:28 a.m. on South Common Street, 1:14 p.m. on Surfside Road, 2:44 p.m. on Eastern Avenue, 8:33 p.m. on Union Street, and 9:24 p.m. on Brownville Avenue. 

Alarms

Reports of alarms at 6:19 a.m. Wednesday at Taco Bell on Boston Street, 6:58 a.m. at the DA’s Office on Central Avenue, 9:23 a.m. on Essex Street, 9:27 a.m. on Essex Street, 3:18 p.m. on Brookline Street, and 5:18 p.m. on Boston Street.

Area Checks

Reports of area checks at 2:34 a.m. Wednesday at the MBTA Parking Garage on Market Street, 3:04 a.m. on Lewis Street, 7:29 a.m. on Goodridge Street, 7:40 a.m. at Cobbet Elementary School on Franklin Street, 7:42 a.m. at Washington Elementary on Blossom Street, 2:39 p.m. at Lynn English on Goodridge Street, and 8:11 p.m. at Ames Playground on Strawberry Avenue.

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday on O’Callaghan Way.

A report of shoplifting at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday at CVS Pharmacy on South Common Street. 

Suspicious Activities

Reports of suspicious activities at 6:24 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s High School on Tremont Street, 10:12 a.m. on Walnut Street, 7:47 p.m. on Hood Street and Nelson Street, and 8:04 p.m. on Eastern Avenue. 

Threat

A report of a threat at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday at Extra Space Storage on Lynnway. 

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday on Liberty Street, 10:41 a.m. at Dunkin Donuts on Market Street, 12:12 p.m. at Community Credit Union of Lynn on Andrew Street, 4:53 p.m. on North Common Street, 5:21 p.m. on Union Street, 5:42 p.m. on Union Street, 6:07 p.m. on Liberty Street, 7:03 p.m. on Liberty Street, 9:47 p.m. on Liberty Street, and 11:02 p.m. on Broad Street. 

 

MARBLEHEAD


Arrest
Joseph R. Blood, 51, of Nonantum Road, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. for charges of OUI-Liquor (third offense), operating with a suspended license due to OUI, leaving the scene of property damage, operation in violation of an interlock device, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and OUI-Drugs (fourth offense).
Assist Citizens
A citizen requested assistance at 4:33 p.m. on Pond Street and Farrell Court, where officers and EMS responded. The individual was later transported to a different location for further care.
Building Checks
Officers conducted routine building checks throughout the day to ensure public safety. Properties were found secure at 12:18 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 12:42 a.m. on Maple Street, 1:02 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 1:03 a.m. on Community Road, 8 a.m. on Community Road, 8:03 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 12:51 p.m. on Community Road, 12:54 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 8:41 p.m. on Community Road, and 8:45 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.
Complaints
A general complaint was logged at 10:32 a.m. on Sandie Lane, where officers responded, provided EMS assistance, and took a report.
Detail – Police
Officers provided police detail services at 5:26 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, ensuring event safety and crowd management.
Found/Lost Property
Items were reported as found at 9:28 a.m. at Cloutmans Lane and Green Street, at 11:21 a.m. on Clifton Avenue and Atlantic Avenue, and at 5:14 p.m. on Anderson Street. Officers secured and documented the recovered items.
Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
A report of larceny was taken at 12:12 p.m. on Broughton Road, where officers initiated an investigation.
Motor Vehicles
A moving motor vehicle complaint was reported at 3:53 p.m. on Baldwin Road and Cornell Road, but officers could not locate the vehicle.
Motor vehicle crashes were reported at 10:07 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, where officers investigated and took a report, and at 9:13 p.m. at Tedesco Street and Maple Street, where EMS and fire personnel responded.
Officers conducted motor vehicle stops throughout the day. Verbal warnings were issued at 9:34 a.m. on Lafayette Street and Oak Street and at 12:45 p.m. on Pleasant Street.
Property Checks
Additional property checks were conducted at various locations, including Atlantic Avenue and Community Road, with all areas found secure.
Summonses Served
A summons was served or attempted at 2:52 p.m. on Broughton Road, with officers ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
Utility Work
Officers monitored utility work at 6:50 a.m. at Pinecliff Drive, Maverick Street and Pleasant Street, and Bubier Road. All work was completed with minimal disruption.


SAUGUS


Larceny
A walk-in report of larceny at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday on Central Square. Walk-in reported he believes he is being scammed. Report taken.
Motor Vehicles
A report of a motor vehicle stop at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday on Lincoln Avenue. Verbal warning; A report at 1:14 p.m. on Route 1 South by Sears. Verbal warning; A report of a motor vehicle stop at 11:33 p.m. on Broadway at Spring Street. Services rendered. 
Noise Complaint
A report of a noise complaint at 1:16 a.m. Wednesday on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reports a loud party. Officers spoke with the resident who agreed to turn down the music. Services rendered.
