LYNN

Arrests

William Finn, 49, of Cleveland Avenue, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. Sunday for three counts of possession of a Class C drug. 

Anthony Sheppard, 39, of Washington Street, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. for charges of violating the city knife ordinance, distribution of a Class B drug, resisting arrest, and possession of a Class B drug.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 12:18 a.m. Sunday on Coburn Street, 2:45 a.m. on Johnson Street, 2:52 a.m. on Morris Street, 4:22 a.m. on Western Avenue, 7:43 a.m. on Witt Street, 9:31 a.m. on Intervale Street, 9:32 a.m. on Newcastle Street, 9:37 a.m. on Flint Street, 9:48 a.m. on Flint Street, 12:10 p.m. on Boston Street, 12:12 p.m. on Sargents Court, 3:13 p.m. on Williams Avenue, 3:17 p.m. on Williams Avenue, 3:53 p.m. Milton Street, and 6:49 p.m. on Joyce Street.

Alarms

Reports of alarms and 8:59 a.m. Sunday on Boston Street, 10:35 a.m. on Union Street, 11:13 a.m. on Marianna Street, 11:17 a.m. on Market Street, 3:47 p.m. on Central Avenue, and 6:23 p.m. on Grove Street.

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 12:28 a.m. Sunday on Curwin Circle, 1:21 a.m. on Harwood, 6:18 p.m. on Lynnway, and 8:34 p.m. on Washington Street. 

Fight

A report of a fight at 12:28 p.m. Sunday on Johnson Street. 

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 1:12 a.m. Sunday on Baldwin Street, 2:06 a.m. on Bellevue Road, and 3:34 p.m. on La Grange Terrace. 

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 5:26 p.m. Sunday on Elmwood Avenue. 

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 3:58 a.m. on Lynn Shore Drive and Nahant Street, 4:29 a.m. on Lynn Shore Drive and Nahant Street, 10:27 a.m. on Linden Street, 3:28 p.m. on Harwood Street, and 5:15 p.m. on Laighton Street. 

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 1:09 p.m. Sunday on Chestnut Street and Essex Street and 5:41 p.m. on Canal Street and River Street. 

Neighbor Problems

Reports of neighbor problems at 10:52 a.m. Sunday on Blakeley Street and 2:56 p.m. on Fayette Street. 

Noise Complaints

Reports of noise complaints at 12:30 a.m. Sunday on Lewis Street, 6:43 a.m. on Curwin Circle, 1:10 p.m. on Lewis Street, 1:31 p.m. on Lynnway, 6:21 p.m. on Hamilton Avenue, 7:02 p.m. on Washington Street, and 11:09 p.m. on Fairmount Avenue. 

Suspicious Activities

Reports of suspicious activities at 2:39 p.m. Sunday on Western Avenue, 3:13 p.m. on Franklin Street, and 3:32 p.m. on Jefferson Street and Rockaway Street. 

Trespassing 

Reports of trespassing at 3:43 a.m. Sunday at Bank of America on State Street, 9:40 a.m. on Exchange Street, 10:13 a.m. on Washington Street, and 8:24 p.m. on Whiting Street. 

MARBLEHEAD

Alarms – Burglar

Burglar alarms were reported at 8:02 a.m. on Village Street and at 1:30 p.m. on Tedesco Street. Officers responded to both locations, determined them to be false alarms, and secured the premises.

Assist Citizens

Reports of assistance to citizens included one at 8:46 a.m. on Lafayette Street, where officers took a report, another at 9:37 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, where the subject could not be located, and a third at 10:43 a.m. on Thomas Circle, where officers rendered services. Additional reports included assistance provided at 11:25 a.m. on Sapphire Avenue and at 3:38 p.m. on Washington Street, both leading to reports being taken.

Building Checks

Routine building checks were conducted throughout the day, ensuring public safety. Officers checked and secured properties at 10:17 a.m. on Community Road.

Complaints

Reports of general complaints were logged at 9:42 a.m. on Prospect Street, where officers rendered services, at 11:21 a.m. on Mohawk Road, where the subject could not be located, and at 7:47 p.m. on Pleasant Street, where officers took a report.

Found/Lost Property

A lost item was reported at 1:20 p.m. on Front Street. Officers responded, but no action was required.

Motor Vehicles

Motor vehicle crashes were reported at 12:55 a.m. on West Shore Drive, where EMS personnel were called but medical transport was refused, at 1:13 a.m. at Redstone Lane and Gregory Street, where officers rendered services, and at 4:36 a.m. on Humphrey Street, where a report was taken.

Property Checks

Additional property checks were performed throughout the day, including at Community Road, where officers ensured public safety.

Utility Work

Utility-related incidents were monitored and documented at 6 a.m. on Foster Street and Parker Lane, where a vehicle was towed, and at 9:02 a.m. on Marion Road, where services were rendered.

SWAMPSCOTT

Area Checks

Reports of area checks at 11:06 a.m. Sunday on Duncan Terrace, 11:12 a.m. on Doherty Circle, 11:26 a.m. on Essex Street, 11:44 a.m. on Paradise Road, 11:55 a.m. on Pine Street, 5:06 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 5:26 p.m. on Burril Street, 5:41 p.m. on Forest Avenue and  5:51 p.m. on Paradise Road.

Hazardous Conditions

A report of hazardous conditions at 11:15 a.m. Sunday on Cherry Street, where the caller reported a party shoveling snow into the road; At 1:35 p.m., a report was filed on Phillips Beach Avenue, where the caller reported a sinkhole in the roadway, and the Department of Public Works was notified; A report at 2:24 p.m. on Forest Avenue, where the caller reported snow blocking the sidewalk; A report at 3:03 p.m. on Huron Street, where the caller reported the smell of natural gas in her hallway.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle problem at 2:57 p.m. Sunday on Essex Street, where the caller reported a blue sedan parked close to the intersection of Stanley and Essex, preventing plow trucks from cleaning the street; A report at 10:09 p.m. on Humphrey Street, where a motorist was stuck in the snow in the parking lot by the football field. Officers were able to get the car unstuck.
