This article was published 9 months agoLynnfield boys basketball star Alex Fleming, center, netted his 1,000th career point in the Pioneers' 83-51 win against Lowell Catholic on Sunday. Fleming, a do-it-all scorer in the Cape Ann League, scored 15 points and helped catapult Lynnfield to the next round of the Spartan Classic. As of Friday morning, Fleming's Pioneers were ranked No. 16 in the Division 3 power rankings. (John Bakopolus)
