LYNN — The City of Lynn and Lynn Creative Cities Partnership have officially launched the 2025 Lynnspire Grants.
This is the third year of Lynnspire grants, which support local creatives, community groups, and organizations in “shaping spaces that foster community engagement, cultural expression, and artistic innovation,” according to the Downtown Lynn Cultural District.
The total funding available is $60,000, and grants will range from $1,000 to $10,000. The program is designed to empower projects that reflect the rich cultural diversity and the dynamic creative spirit of the city.
Solo artists, community groups, and organizations are all welcome to apply for the grant. Those eligible are residents of Lynn, those who work or operate in Lynn, creatives, emerging artists, and cultural groups based in Lynn, and community change-makers uplifting Lynn’s neighbors, according to the application.
Applications can be submitted online, and instructions are in both English and Spanish.
The deadline for the application is March 9, while the grant award notification will be on March 24. The deadline for project completion is Dec. 31, and the final report is due January 2026.
15 projects were supported in the last cycle of Lynnspire grants. One grant went to the Galleries at LynnArts, which used the grant to upgrade technology and host events, according to the Downtown Lynn Cultural District. Another grant was awarded to the Selfish Women’s Group to create a safe space that prioritized self-care in women.
All 15 projects showed a wide range of uses for the Lynnspire grant, with each choosing different creative avenues.
