LYNN

Arrests

Nora Bonilla, 37, of Mall Street, was arrested at 3:57 a.m. Tuesday for charges of an uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, an uninsured motor vehicle, number plate violation to conceal, possession of a Class B drug, carrying a dangerous weapon, unlicensed possession of ammo with no FID, defacing a firearm serial number, carrying a firearm without a license, carrying a loaded firearm weapon, and having a large capacity weapon/feeding of a firearm. 

Anthony Brooks, 40, of Lewis Street, was arrested at 4:12 a.m. for charges of possession to distribute, having a large capacity weapon/feeding, unlicensed possession of ammo with no FID, a firearm violation with one prior violent, carrying a firearm without a license, and carrying a loaded firearm weapon. 

Joshua Simpson, 25, of Mill Street, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection/sticker, number plate violation, window obstructed/nontransparent, failure to wear a seatbelt, and having an open container of alcohol.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday on Chatham Street, 4:14 a.m. on High Rock Street, 1:10 p.m. on Clarner Road, 1:28 p.m. on High Street, 1:43 p.m. on Coburn Street, 4:59 p.m. on Union Street, 5:59 p.m. on Marianna Street, 7:43 p.m. on Sheridan Street, and 8:52 p.m. on Commercial Street.

Reports of noise complaints at 4:38 p.m. Tuesday on South Street and 10:40 p.m. on Temple Place. 

Shoplifting

Reports of shoplifting at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday at Market Basket on Federal Street, 5:42 p.m. at Walmart on Lynnway, and 7:35 p.m. at Compare Market on State Street. 

Suspicious Activities

Reports of suspicious activities at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday on Ocean Street and 9:59 a.m. on Cliff Street. 

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 9:38 a.m. Tuesday on Broad Street, 12:53 p.m. on Lynn Shore Drive, 1:26 p.m. on High Street, and 11:04 p.m. on Market Street.

Vandals

Reports of vandals at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday on Hanover Street and 8:40 p.m. on Regent Place.  

MARBLEHEAD

Cable Wire Down

A cable wire was reported down over the street at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday on Ocean Avenue. Services rendered. 

Collapsing Catch Basin

A report was made for a collapsing catch basin at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday on Blanchard Street and Harbor Avenue. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 2:48 a.m. Tuesday on Rowland Street. Services rendered. 

General Complaints

A report of a general complaint at 11:06 a.m. Tuesday Mechanic Square. Report taken. General complaints were also made at 12 p.m. on Lee Street, 1:10 p.m. on Tedesco Street and West Street, and 1:44 p.m. on West Shore Drive. Services rendered.

General Information

Reports of general information at 1:08 a.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street and 10:48 a.m. on Gerry Street. Both were no action required.

There was a report of icy roads at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday on Vassar Road. Services rendered. A report was made at 8:20 a.m. on Harbor Avenue. Services rendered. There was another report of an icy road at 9:09 a.m. on Susan Road. Services rendered.

A report of a motor vehicle complaint – moving at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday on Harbor Avenue. Services rendered.
A report of a disabled motor vehicle at 2:03 a.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. Services rendered.

A report of a pot hole at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street and Mohawk Road.

Animal Control

A report of a need for animal control at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday at South Memorial School on Maple Street. The dog’s owner came to collect him. Returned to home/family; A report at 9:41 a.m. on Mill Street. MSPCA needed assistance in an attempt to have a party surrender cats. Services rendered.

A report of biohazard pickup/disposal at 11:06 a.m. Tuesday at Nordstrom on Andover Street. Services rendered.

A report of disturbance/party/music at 12:11 a.m. Tuesday on Dearborn Road. Caller reports loud stomping in the unit above hers. Peace restored; A report at 1:45 a.m. at Giovanni’s Roast Beef & Pizza on Lowell Street. Caller reports someone operating a bobcat late at night. Peace restored.  

DPW Callout

A report of a DPW callout at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday on Swampscott Avenue at Adelaide Avenue. An officer requested for a sander for ice on the road. DPW notified. 

Lost/Found Property

A report of lost/found property at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Police Department on Allens Lane. Party turned in a fanny pack. The owner was contacted and will pick up the item. Returned to home/family. 

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on Catherine Drive and 6:50 p.m. at the Northshore Mall on Andover Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday on Lynn Street, 11:35 a.m. on Veterans Memorial Drive, 11:44 a.m. on Clement Avenue, 9:55 p.m. on Washington Street at Clement Avenue, and 10:14 p.m. at Peabody Sunoco on Lynn Street. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 1:26 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Cedar Grove Avenue. Officer checked on a vehicle. Investigated. 

Threats

A report of threats at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday on Elm Street. Caller believes he was threatened. Investigated.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Jimmy Carrasquillo, of Riverpath Drive, was arrested at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday for charges of attempting to commit a crime (larceny over $1,200) and carrying a dangerous weapon. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday at Zales Jewelers on Broadway. Building appears to be secure. 

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 11:02 a.m. Tuesday on Sapphire Road. A bite took place on 2/14 at the Red Dog Pet Resort on Walnut Street. It was dog on dog. The biting canine had a current rabies vaccination. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart on Broadway. An employee reported an ongoing argument between two customers. Parties were trespassed and left. Investigated. 

DPW Complaints

A report of a DPW complaint at 9:31 a.m. Tuesday on School Street. Caller reported a large pot hole. DPW notified; A report at 9:37 a.m. near Santander Bank on Broadway. Caller reported two boxes full of metal parts in the middle of the street. State DPW notified. 

Hazardous Road Condition

A report of a hazardous road condition at 6:36 a.m. Tuesday on Dow Street at Adams Avenue. Officer reports there is a lot of ice at the intersection. DPW notified. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday on Salem Turnpike.. Multiple calls were made for an accident. A car went into the guard rail. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday at Batteries Plus on Broadway. Caller reported an accident where the other vehicle fled. Peabody PD was given a possible suspect plate and asked to contact Saugus officer if contact is made with the vehicle operator. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday on Dustin Street. Citation warning; A report at 1:09 p.m. on Central Street at Horton Street. Verbal warning; A report at 9:04 p.m. on Main Street. Verbal warning.  

Noise Complaint

A report of a noise complaint at 11:57 p.m. Tuesday on Crescent Avenue. Caller reported a loud stereo in the driveway across the street. Services rendered. 

Property Damage

A walk-in report of property damage at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday at Marshalls on Broadway. The walk-in reported that her vehicle was struck by a carriage while on Route 1 South. She sustained damage on her driver side. Report taken. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 12:16 p.m. Tuesday at Lowe’s on Broadway. Loss prevention requested an officer to take a past shoplifting report. Report taken; A report at 2:27 p.m. at Kohl’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported a shoplifter who switched out his boots for a pair of Timberlands. Report taken; A report at 6:02 p.m. at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. Loss prevention reported two shoplifters in the store. She reports they have some high end items and are still walking through the store. Arrest of over 17 male made. 

Threats

A report of threats at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday on Dewey Street. Caller reports she is receiving threats from her cousin’s fiance to harm her and her husband. Services rendered. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway. An employee reported they terminated a resident and she will not leave the property. Perpetrator(s) gone on arrival.

Reports of area checks at 10:41 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 1:31 p.m. on Monument Avenue, 3:08 p.m. on Upper Jackson Park, 3:16 p.m. on Essex Street, and 9:51 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.

Hazardous Conditions

A report of hazardous conditions at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday on Sunbeam Lane. The officer reported a large pothole in the roadway; A report at 12 p.m. on Shepard Avenue.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:09 a.m. Tuesday on Paradise Road. The officer noted an arrest was made. There were more reports of stops at 2:07 p.m. on Essex Street, 5:38 p.m. on Middlesex Avenue and Norfolk Avenue, and 5:44 p.m. on Curry Circle and New Ocean Street.
