Anna Felicio became the first state champion in the history of the Saugus-Peabody wrestling co-op Saturday in the MIAA Girls Division 1 State Championship at North Andover High. The No. 1 seed in the 107-pound weight class, Felicio defeated No. 3 Alexia Henriques Silva of North Andover, 16-1, to clinch the title. She opened with a first-round bye, then pinned Salina Shresthra (Malden/Everett) in 16 seconds in the quarterfinals. She then pinned No. 4 Alyssa Sukharenko (Brookline) in 1:06 in the semifinals to set up the championship bout.
