Reports of property checks at 12:44 a.m., 11:16 a.m., 6:37 p.m., 7:24 p.m. and 10:14 p.m. Sunday on Atlantic Avenue, 12:45 a.m., 11:13 a.m., 6:24 p.m., 7:20 p.m. and 10:11 p.m. on Community Road, 7:17 p.m. on Humphrey Street, 9:55 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane.

Tree/Branch Down

A report of a tree/branch down at 11:56 a.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street.

PEABODY

Arrests

Emanuel Vinicius Pinheiro Dos Santos, 25, of Buxton Street, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor over .08%, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation at 1:26 a.m. on Central Street.

Tiber Saracoglu, 20, of North Shore Road, Revere, was arrested for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no inspection sticker at 5:02 p.m. on Andover Street.

Summons

Moises Isaias Lopez Chavez, 31, of Shepard Street, Lynn, will be summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation at 10:30 p.m. on Dimitrios Circle.

Disturbances

A report of loud slamming noises from the unit above at 12:06 a.m. on Foster Street. All in order; A report of loud noise getting worse from the same unit with yelling and slamming at 12:33 a.m. on Foster Street. Officer spoke with the same party; they said they would be quiet for the night; a report of loud talking at 1:03 a.m. on Central Street. Caller was uncooperative and gave an improper address. Officer checked area, all in order; a report of people talking loudly, and the caller was uncooperative and disconnected prior to giving information at 1:15 a.m. on Central Street. Officer spoke with the resident in unit 10; they will be quieting down; a report of a male party yelling at 6:40 p.m. on Keys Drive.

Fire

A report of smoke coming from the basement at 5:02 p.m. on Maple Street Extension. Officer reports what appears to be a broken pipe letting off excess steam; maintenance will be addressing the issue, and the units clear.

Lost or Found Property

A report of a lost gold bracelet possibly in Peabody Plaza at 11:04 a.m. on Sheldon Road.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a verbal warning for equipment at 1:14 a.m. on Sewall Street; A report of a suspicious motor vehicle with a gas pump hanging out the gas tank at 7:30 a.m. on Foster Street. Officer reports motor vehicle will be heading to the gas station to return the pump; a report of a motor vehicle driving all over the road at 7:30 a.m. on Sabino Farm Road; a report of a verbal warning for stop sign violation at 7:47 a.m. on Lowell Street; A report of a verbal warning for headlights at 6:18 p.m. on Lynn Street; a report of a motor vehicle shining light into reporting party’s kitchen, small SUV, still on the scene at 6:40 p.m. on Woodbridge Road. Officer reports the incident is unfounded; a report of a suspicious motor vehicle that appears abandoned with no license plate at 9:01 p.m. on Central Street. Officer attempted to make contact with owner, will follow up with it tomorrow.

Shoplifting

A report of a tall man wearing a black rain jacket carrying a Lululemon bag walking towards the foodcourt stole $517 in merchandise at 5:09 p.m. at Sunglass Hut Store on Andover Street. Police looking in the area of the food court.

Threats

A report of a male in a black hat threatening people with a pistol in the parking lot at 9:38 p.m. on Newbury Street. The firearm was not brandished, threats were unfounded, no trespass was issued and party went home for the night.

SAUGUS

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 1:27 p.m. Sunday at Belmonte STEAM Academy on Dow Street. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 3:10 p.m. at Belmonte STEAM Academy on Dow Street. Building appears to be secure; a report at 3:52 p.m. at Belmonte STEAM Academy on Dow Street. Building appears to be secure. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 5:23 p.m. at LA Fitness on Broadway. Caller reported a male walking into the LA Fitness lot stating he needed a ride to the hospital. An area check was performed, and police were unable to locate the man. Investigated, nothing found. 

Break & Enter/Burglary 

A report of break & entry/burglary at 9:49 a.m. Sunday on Alfred Road. Caller reported that his ex-girlfriend broke into his house with an unknown second female party. He will be providing video footage. Report taken.

Lost Property

A report of lost property at 7:19 p.m. Sunday at Roller World on Broadway. Caller reported that her daughter lost $350 sneakers. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:44 p.m. on Broadway. Multiple callers reported an accident with injury and possibly seven cars involved. Removed to hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:03 a.m. Sunday on Main Street at Vine Street. Verbal warning. 

A report of larceny of a motor vehicle at 9:40 a.m. Sunday on Reynolds Drive. Caller reported his motor vehicle was stolen sometime in the morning. Report taken. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 6:22 p.m. Sunday at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported they are detaining two female shoplifters. Report taken. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 2:27 a.m. Sunday on Herbert Avenue. Caller reported damage to his door after a man tried to break into his vehicle. Report taken.

Threats

A report of threats at 4:05 p.m. Sunday at the YMCA on Main Street. Caller reported a group of youths were causing a disturbance, and when asked to leave, they threatened her that their parents were going to beat her up. Peace restored. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 1:37 p.m. Sunday at LA Fitness on Broadway. Caller reported two male parties were asked to leave for recording video footage inside the gym. Parties refused to leave. Peace restored.

Reports of area checks at 8:25 a.m. Sunday on Atlantic Avenue, 9:40 a.m. on Upper Jackson Park, 12:51 p.m. on Crossman Avenue, and 10:52 p.m. on Paradise Road.

Larceny

A report of larceny at 2:17 p.m. on Humphrey Street. A woman walked into the station and reported a stolen pocketbook.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 11:17 a.m. Sunday on Humphrey Street and Phillips Avenue, 11:23 a.m. on Humphrey Street, 11:36 a.m. on Essex Street, 11:44 a.m. on Essex Street, and 11:54 a.m. on Columbia Street and Maple Avenue.

NAHANT

Reports of motor vehicle stops were filed at 2:49 p.m. Sunday on Nahant Road. The officer issued a verbal warning to the driver; 5:59 p.m. on Wilson Road; 7:29 p.m. on Nahant Road and Castle Road; 9:57 p.m. on Nahant Road and Little Nahant Road.
