LYNN

Arrests

Jean Filias, 26, of Rockaway Street, was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Tuesday on charges of strangulation or suffocation and assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled.

Yarileisy Prandys Moreta, 19, of Bloomfield Street, was arrested at 5:21 a.m. Wednesday on charges of willful malicious wanton damage and leaving the scene of property damage.

Alarms

Reports of alarms at 3:43 a.m. Tuesday on Chevrolet Street, 3:49 a.m. on State Street, 4:59 a.m. on Leary Middle School, and 5:14 a.m. on Richdale Convenience Store.

Reports of area checks at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday on Curwin Circle, 1:34 a.m. on Lynn Shore Drive, 2:48 a.m. on Barry Park, and 7:26 a.m. Wednesday on Lynn Tech Annex.

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday on Essex Street, 10:15 p.m. on Moulton Street, and 10:59 p.m. on Essex Street.

Fire Reports

Reports of fire at 5:22 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday on Munroe Street and 5:16 p.m. on Willow Street.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday on Boston Street, 8:03 p.m. on State Street, and 7:52 a.m. Wednesday on Broad Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday on Victory Road, 11:06 p.m. on Western Avenue, and 1:46 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street.

Noise Complaints

Reports of noise complaints at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday on Commercial Street and 11:24 p.m. on Liberty Square.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 12:00 a.m. Tuesday on Brookside Road, 4:21 p.m. on Adams Street, and 9:02 a.m. Wednesday on Broadway.

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday on Central Avenue and 6:18 p.m. on Eastern Avenue.

911 Hang-Ups 

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:27 a.m. Tuesday on Tedesco Street and 5:43 p.m. on Pleasant Street. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 1:04 p.m. Tuesday on Washington Street. Services rendered. 

Found/Lost Property

Reports of found/lost property at 12:14 p.m. Tuesday on Market Square and 8:13 p.m. on Pilgrim Road. 

Found Wallet

A report of a found wallet at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday on Market Square. Services rendered. 

General Complaint

A report of a general complaint at 9:17 a.m. Tuesday on Pitman Road. Services rendered.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday on Hewitt Street and Atlantic Avenue and 10:07 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. Both were verbal warnings.  

Propery Checks

Reports of property checks at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday on West Shore Drive, 4:57 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 11:06 p.m. on Community Road, and 5:01 p.m., 7:41 p.m., and 11:08 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 11:14 a.m. Tuesday on Elizabeth Road. Could not locate. 

PEABODY

Arrest

Alec Michael Olsen, 27, of Paleologos Street, was arrested for larceny over $1,200 and receiving stolen property over $1,200 at 8:32 p.m. on Jubilee Drive

Summons

Cara M. Lima, 36, of Elm Street, will be summoned for larceny under $1,200, identity fraud, and credit card fraud under $1,200 at 11:09 a.m. on Warren Street; Stefania Borges Do Carmo, 41, of Harris Street, will be summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Animal Control

A report of a pregnant stray cat at 11:42 a.m. on Dustin Street. Info to rescue org. was passed onto reporting party.

Dispute

A report of a tenant that should not be at the property at this time at 6:30 p.m. on Truman Road.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a citation for failure to stop for a bus at 7:23 a.m. on Lynn Street; A report of a motor vehicle accident at 7:46 a.m. on Lynnfield Street; A report of a written warning for an inspection sticker at 10:54 a.m. on Pulaski Street; A report of a minor motor vehicle accident at 2:12 p.m. on Foster Street; A report of a motor vehicle accident with no injuries or entrapment at 2:23 p.m. on Sparrow Lane; A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:34 p.m. on Main Street. No injuries reported; A report of a hit and run at 4:12 p.m. on Washington Street. Caller reported he was hit and did not realize until looking at his dashcam footage, officer will document; A report of a three car accident with one injury at 7:09 p.m. on Lowell Street.

Suspicious Activities

A report of a swastika drawn in the dirt on the back of the reporting party’s vehicle at 4:53 p.m. on Andover Street; A report of a suspicious vehicle in the lot shining lights at 7:20 p.m. on Aberdeen Drive. Party was waiting for a child custody pick up; A report of a male party looking in motor vehicles at 7:52 p.m. on Lynnfield Street. Gone on arrival.

Traffic Hazard

A report of debris from a PortaPotty scattered over the road at 12:33 p.m. on Honey Lane. PortaPotty moved to the side of the road.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Michael Henneghan was arrested Tuesday at 8:56 a.m. and is reported to be a fugitive from Justice. It was determined after Henneghan’s arrest on 1/16/25 that an extraditable warrant had been issued for him out of South Carolina. He is being held on his prior charge. Departmental action. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday on Hurd Avenue. Accidental/defective alarm. 

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 10:14 a.m Tuesday on Cleveland Avenue. Caller stated that a large black dog with white paws is loose in the neighborhood. ACO McCollough was dispatched and has custody of the dog. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday on Howard Street. Landlord stated that there was a male attempting to retrieve items from the previous tenant’s apartment. Landlord said all parties were being cooperative. Services rendered. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday on Walnut Street. Caller reported a blue Ford Escape struck a mailbox and fled. Report taken.

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 6:54 a.m. Tuesday at Holiday INN Express on Broadway. Caller reported that his vehicle was backed into at some point last night, and the other vehicle left the scene. Report taken; a report at 9:31 a.m. on Pevwell Drive. Officer reported that a green plastic underground electrical housing unit that is located on the sidewalk was struck sometime in the past week. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday at Marao Burger on Main Street. Citation issued (civil/crim.); a report at 6:27 p.m. at Floor and Decor on Main Street. Verbal warning. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday on Denver Street. Calling party stated there was a drone flying low in the areas of Norther Strand Trail, between Central and Denver. Investigated, nothing found. 

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday on Main Street. Caller reported a suspicious male walking down the street. The male was described as heavyset, bald, and wearing a gray sweatshirt. The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and vandalized a fence in the area. Area search negative.
