LYNN

Arrests

Prandys Moreta, 20, of Bloomfield Street, was arrested at 5:21 a.m. Wednesday on charges of willful malicious wanton damage and leaving the scene of property damage.

Jean Desire, 32, of Judson Street, Malden, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no inspection sticker.

Darnette Thompson, 37, of Tilton Place, was arrested at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

Robert Trahant, 58, of Harwood Street, was arrested at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday on charges of drinking in public, possession of an alcoholic beverage, possession of a knife with a blade, and urinating in public.

Reports of alarms at 4:17 a.m. Wednesday on Chestnut Street, 4:51 a.m. at Fecteau Leary Middle School on North Common Street, 10:38 a.m. on North Federal Street, 12:06 p.m. on Washington Street, 5:11 p.m. on Parkland Avenue, and 6:42 p.m. on Broadway.

Animal Complaints

Reports of animal complaints at 10:09 a.m. Wednesday on South Common Street and 2:50 p.m. on Washington Street.

Reports of a fire at 5:22 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street, 1:30 p.m. at City Hall Square, and 5:25 p.m. on Baldwin Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 9:26 a.m. Wednesday on Bennett Street, 12:37 p.m. on Casco Road, 2:21 p.m. on Pleasant Street, 5:24 p.m. at Ferguson Plumbing on Lynnway, and 6:01 p.m. on Pinkham Place.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 7:52 a.m. Wednesday on Broad Street and Market Street, 1:51 p.m. on Boston Street, 2:35 p.m. on Blossom Street, 3:09 p.m. on South Street and Summer Street, 4:51 p.m. at Mobil Gas Station on Chestnut Street, 5:05 p.m. on Western Avenue, and 6:45 p.m. on Arlington Street.

PEABODY

Summons

Dylan G. Moise, 31, of Newbury Street will be summoned for leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of motor vehicle at 6:14 p.m. on Endicott Street.

Haley S. Hart-Labrie, 31, of Essex Avenue, Gloucester, will be summoned for obstruction of justice at 6:14 p.m. on Newbury Street.

Animal Control

A report of loose German shepherd and brindle boxer dogs running around on the street at 2:23 p.m. on Mason Street. Both dogs were picked up by animal control officers. The owner was advised that Rocky, the boxer, had a wound on his leg and Max, the shepherd, had blood on him, and that they would be quarantining the dogs for wounds of unknown origin.

Dispute

A report of a tenant pushing the reporting party as they walked through the door at 8:13 a.m. on Truman Road. Officer reports it was a dispute about the heating system.

Disturbance

A report of loud music at 1:13 a.m. on Crane Brook Way. All is in order, there is no noise at this time; A report of loud music at 2:17 a.m. on Newbury Street. Party had TV on loud, will turn it down.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a trespass tow at 2:25 a.m. on Crane Brook Way; A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:42 a.m. on Norfolk Avenue. No injuries; A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:50 a.m. on Russell Street. Car had a flat tire, waiting for a tow truck; A report of a citation for a one way violation at 10:57 a.m. on Mill Street; A report of a motor vehicle that hit a stop sign while driving erratic at 12:57 p.m. on Sylvan Street. Officer check the area, no sign of vehicle or the stop sign; A report of a motor vehicle accident at 3:58 p.m. on Summit Street; A report of a written warning for equipment violation at 5:39 p.m. on Andover Street; A report of a car parked between the caller’s storage containers at 6:47 p.m. on Pulaski Street. Caller had left the scene, officers checked the property, nothing showing; A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:13 p.m. on Newbury Street.

Traffic Hazard

A report of walk lights not responding to the button at 11:28 a.m. on Margin Street. PFD notified.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Olivier Flo, Calixte, an over-17 male, of Emory Street, was arrested at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday for charges of larceny over $1,200 and unlawful deactivation or removal of a theft detection device. 

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday at Saugus Middle High School on Pierce Memorial Drive. Accidental/defective alarm.

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday on Sumner Street. Caller reported a deceased dog on the corner of Hamilton and Sumner. ACO responded and family was contacted. Services rendered. 

Assist Citizens

A walk-in report of citizen assistance at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday on Butterfield Road. A woman walked into the station and wanted to speak with an officer regarding two potential assault and battery incidents that happened between her and a male who is known to her. Both incidents happened in the summer of last year. Services rendered; a walk-in report at 9:10 p.m. at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday on Newhall Avenue. Caller reported an ongoing issue with residents on the 3rd floor. Services rendered. 

Larceny

A walk-in report of larceny at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday at LA Fitness on Broadway. A man walked into the station to report larceny. Report taken.  

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday on Broadway and the 99 Split. State Police Danvers advised receiving a call for an accident with airbag deployment. Report taken; a report at 12:52 p.m. on Route 107 North. Caller reported a two-car accident with injury. Report taken; a report at 2:52 p.m. at Wood Spring Extended Stay on Broadway. Officer reported a minor accident. Report taken; a report at 4:07 p.m. at York Ford INC. on Broadway. Services rendered.  

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 5:21 p.m. Wednesday at Eliot Community Human Services on Broadway. Caller reported her vehicle was struck while parked in the lot. The other vehicle involved did not leave any information. Services rendered. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday on Central Street at Assembly Drive. Services rendered.  

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday at PETCO on Broadway. An employee reported that a car had been parked in front of the store for an extended amount of time. Perpetrator(s) gone on arrival. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 10:44 a.m. Wednesday at Best Buy on Broadway. Caller reported a male had entered the store and taken a $1,700 laptop. Arrest made.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday at Best Buy on Broadway. Mall security reported a customer’s car was broken into while parked in the lot. Nothing was taken. Investigated, nothing found.
