LYNN — One person was injured when a car crashed into a house near Broadway and Mansfield Street early Friday morning.
Lt. Richard Connick said officers responded to the area at 12:48 a.m. for a motor vehicle accident. “They located one vehicle that had rolled over in the middle of Broadway, and another involved a motor vehicle that had struck a house on Broadway, causing minor damage,” Connick said. “There was one person with minor injuries that was subsequently transported to the hospital, and this incident still remains under active investigation.”
No one inside the house was injured, and the home was deemed structurally safe by inspectors. Officers collected evidence at the scene while a tow truck removed the wrecked vehicle.
