NAHANT — The Public Library will be offering residents a rare glimpse into the minds of two best-selling authors, Curtis Sittenfeld and Gabrielle Zevin, on March 19.
The event, titled “Virtual Author Hour in Massachusetts,” kicks off at 7 p.m. on Zoom, and will be open to any community members interested in learning more about Zevin or Sittenfeld, who will go in-depth about the 20th anniversary of her bestselling novel, Prep, a coming-of-age tale set in the complex landscape of modern America.
The webinar is also being promoted by over 50 public libraries throughout Massachusetts.
Sittenfeld is the New York Times bestselling author of seven novels, including “Romantic Comedy,” “Rodham, Eligible,” “Prep,” “American Wife,” and “Sisterland.” As her fanbase continued to grow, her novels went on to be translated in 30 different languages. Her nonfiction works have appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, and public radio’s This American Life.
