LYNN

Arrests

Raul Powell Jr., 22, of Cloverly Street, was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Wednesday on charges of refusing to identify as a motor vehicle operator and speeding.

Bianca Payne, 34, of Hanover Street, was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, and leaving the scene of property damage.

Shauna McCabe, 42, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 6:49 a.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class E drug, trespassing, assault and battery on ambulance personnel, and larceny under $1,200.

Raelyn Barrett, 39, of Whitting Street, was arrested at 6:46 a.m. Wednesday on a straight warrant and two charges of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Angelli Pena, 42, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday on charges of distributing a Class A drug, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, number plate violation to conceal identity, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property under $1,200, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug, and breaking and entering a vehicle or boat at nighttime for a felony.

Devin Kelly, 39, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 7:06 a.m. Wednesday on charges of receiving stolen property under $1,200, larceny under $1,200, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and improper turn.

Matthew Anderson, 44, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 7:12 a.m. Wednesday on charges of a default warrant and possession of a Class B drug.

Keith Coakley, 51, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on charges of three default warrants, larceny under $1,200, larceny from a building, receiving stolen property under $1,200, and larceny under $250 by false pretense.

Sam Chan, 52, of Whitting Street, was arrested at 7:37 a.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a Class A drug, distributing a Class A drug, and a miscellaneous municipal ordinance violation.

Taylore Spring, 28, of Whiting Street, was arrested at 6:47 a.m. Wednesday on a straight warrant and charges of carrying a firearm without a license.

Jhonatan Figueroa Saez, 31, of Willow Street, was arrested at 8:39 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute.

911 Hang-ups

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 7:04 a.m. Wednesday on Estes Street, 10:08 a.m. on Silsbee Street, 10:12 a.m. on Broad Street, 10:56 a.m. on Federal Street, 11:41 a.m. on Boston Street, 11:59 a.m. on Buffum Street, 2:37 p.m. on Brookline Street, and 4:49 p.m. on Oakland Avenue.

Alarms

Reports of alarms at 1:09 a.m. Wednesday on Lynnway, 4:15 a.m. on Buffum Street, 5:38 a.m. on Boston Street, 6:36 a.m. on Commercial Street, 8:57 a.m. on Joyce Street, 7:12 p.m. on Union Street.

Animal Complaints

Reports of animal complaints at 6:46 a.m. Wednesday on Parkland Avenue, 12:19 p.m. on Linwood Street, 2:56 p.m. on Bellevue Road.

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday on Springdale Avenue. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 11:11 a.m. at Valeri Drive. Accidental/defective alarm. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 11:17 p.m. Wedneday on Granite Road. Caller reported that he is receiving threats from someone and the he believed that he might try to harm him. Services rendered. 

Hazmat Level 0

A walk-in report of hazmat level 0 at the Mobil Station on Essex Street. A person walked into the sation reporting someone dumped diesel fuel behind the building. Saugus Fire Department reported it was mostly water on the deck and no hazards with fluids. Investigated. 

Identity Fraud

A walk-in report of identity fraud at 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A woman walked in to report that her Square Business account was hacked. Report taken. 

Larceny

A report of larceny at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday on Westland Avenue. Caller reported his son’s electric bicycle was stolen from the Square One Mall. Report taken. 

Lost Property

A walk-in report of lost property at 3:58 p.m. Wednesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man came into the station to report that he had located a black iPhone in a wooded area in town while walking the trails. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:41 a.m. Wednesday on Broadway. Caller reported being involved in an accident with one other vehicle. Report taken; a report at 3:23 p.m. at Walmart on Broadway. Caller reported an accident in the fast lane. State police was on scene. Referred to other agency; a report at 3:46 p.m. at Prince Pizza on Broadway. Caller reported an accident in the left lane. State police was on scene. Referred to other agency; a report at 4:27 p.m. at Stop & Shop on Main Street. Caller reported his parked motor vehicle was struck and damaged across from Stop & Shop. Investigated, nothing found. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:50 a.m. Wednesday on Main Street. Citation issued (civil/crim.); a report at 6:31 p.m. at Ocean State Job Lot on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 7:04 p.m. on Main Street. Verbal warning. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday on Lewis Street. Caller reported that there was a green pickup truck with two doors that was speeding up his street, he stated he believed that the vehicle is coming from Endicott St. Vehicle was legally parked for the night with no occupant inside. Investigated; a report at 2:32 p.m. on Oakwood Avenue. Caller reported a Silver Toyota Tundra that had been parked outside her house for a couple of hours. She approached them and he flashed a badge and said he was surveilling for Amazon package thefts. No police service necessary. 

Noise Complaints

A report of a noise complaint at 12 a.m. Wednesday on Central Street at Winter Street. Caller reported a gathering of people playing basketball after hours. Dispersed gathering; a report at 5:35 a.m. at Angelo’s Service Station on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reported that the station was starting their trucks outside of the hours. Services rendered.

Suspicious Activity

A walk-in report of suspicious activity at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday on Warren Road. A man came into the station to report there had been several parties late at night with noise issues and what he believed to be drug activity. Services rendered; a report at 11:36 a.m. on Danforth Avenue. Caller reported being scammed out of money on a vehicle purchase. Advised civil action.

Noise

Reports of noise at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday on Humphrey Street. The caller reported excessive noise of loading trucks and music from Lally’s garage and noted it had been going on since 9 p.m.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 8:31 a.m. Wednesday on Monument Avenue. The caller reported a man between the ages of 50-65 years of age, heavyset, 6’3”, was in their backyard for unknown reasons; a report at 3:14 p.m. at Humphrey Street. A walk-in party reported kids setting two small fires in lots of Phillips Park.

Reports of traffic enforcement posts at 5:56 a.m. Wednesday on Atlantic Avenue and Palmer Avenue, 6:15 a.m. on Paradise Road, 8:11 a.m. on Salem Street and Stanley Road, 10:43 a.m. on Humphrey Street and Phillips Circle, 1:23 p.m. on Burril Street and Monument Avenue, 4:38 p.m. on Railroad Avenue, and 8:55 p.m. on Essex Street.
