SAUGUS — Through the New Friends of the Saugus Library, Robert Siciliano will show seniors how to stay safe online on March 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library on 295 Central St.
Siciliano is a Boston-based security expert and private investigator with 30-plus years of experience. He has earned the title #1 Best Selling Amazon.com author for five books. He is also the architect of the CSI Protection certification, a Cyber Social Identity and Personal Protection security awareness training program.
Those who attend can learn how to protect themselves from online threats like scams, identity theft, and phishing attacks. The interactive session will cover essential cybersecurity practices in a clear and easy-to-understand format.
The internet offers a world of opportunities for seniors and retirees — from staying connected with loved ones to managing finances and accessing vital information. However, it also comes with risks.
This workshop will empower you with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
Attendance is limited, and you can register at sauguspubliclibrary.org/events/.
