LYNN

Arrests

Brooke Avelar, 62, of Nahant Street, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Monday on multiple warrants, including charges of motor vehicle larceny, receiving stolen property over $1,200, larceny under $1,200, unlawful possession of ammunition without an FID card, improper firearm storage, and defacing a firearm serial number.

Jose Deleon-Mauricio, 40, of Chatham Street, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. Monday on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, and failure to stop or yield.

Denilson Quinonez Escobar, of North Street, Somerville, was arrested at 9:07 p.m. Monday on warrants related to operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and a lights violation.

Kelby Reynoso, of Franklin Street, was arrested at 10:09 a.m. Monday on a warrant charge of assault and battery.

Christopher Thiboutot, 41, of Amity Street, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday on charges of armed and masked robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm in a felony, and attempting to commit a crime.

911 Hang-ups

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:21 a.m. Monday on Burrill Avenue, 12:33 p.m. on Varney Terrace, 3:11 p.m. on Beach Road, 4:07 p.m. on Boston Street, 9:11 p.m. on Neptune Boulevard, and 10:22 p.m. on Needhams Landing Road.

Reports of alarms at 1:41 a.m. Monday on State Street, 2:18 a.m. on Western Avenue, 6:17 a.m. on Munroe Street, 7:33 a.m. on Goodridge Street, 10:10 a.m. on Parkland Avenue, 5:21 p.m. on Market Street, and 7:39 p.m. on Market Street.

Reports of disturbances at 12:55 a.m. Monday on Commercial Street and Summer Street, 2:35 a.m. on Needhams Landing Road, 3:47 a.m. on North Common Street, 12:49 p.m. on Fayette Street, 6:34 p.m. at Washington Street Shelter, and 8:44 p.m. on Washington Street.

Arrest

Donal Martin Quinn, a 17-and-over male of Hickory Lane, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Monday for a charge of operating under the influence. 

William Adam Kelaher, a 17-and-over male of Wyoming Avenue, was arrested at 4:35 p.m. Monday for charges of protective custody/drunkenness.

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 2:37 a.m. Monday at 7-Eleven on Lincoln Avenue. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 4:42 a.m. at Mobile Mart on Broadway; a report at 11:34 a.m. at the Continental Restaurant on Broadway. Canceled prior to arrival. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 1:10 p.m. Monday at Riverside Cemetary on Winter Street. Caller reported a female in the cemetery who drove on the grass and was requesting assistance because she believed her brakes were not working. Services rendered; a report at 1:23 p.m. on Broadway. Services rendered. 

Hazardous Road Conditions

A report of hazardous road conditions at 11:13 a.m. on the Salem Turnpike. Officer reported flooding in the roadway. Services rendered. MassDOT was notified. 

Larceny

A report of larceny at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Lowe’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported a past larceny from the weekend. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 10:26 a.m. Monday on Ballard Street at the Salem Turnpike. Third-party info from State Police Revere was received about a single-vehicle accident. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 6:48 a.m. Monday on Lincoln Avenue at Chestnut Street. Caller reported a two-car accident with unknown injuries. Report taken. 

Noise Complaints

A report of a noise complaint at 1:05 a.m. Monday at Grand View Park. Caller reported a small gathering in the area of his residence. Dispersed gathering;  a report at 2:47 a.m. on Hesper Street. Caller reported his neighbor’s car alarm had been sounding for over an hour. Investigated. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 1:34 p.m. Monday on Newhall Avenue. Caller reported receiving a call from her daughter that she would like a man removed from her home. Peace restored. 

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 3:05 a.m. Monday on Arnold Terrace. Caller reported low-hanging wires. Services rendered.
