LYNN — Lynn’s co-op swim team held its end-of-season banquet. With the season in the books, swimmers and divers were given awards to celebrate their winter achievements.

Captains Kaydee Rouse and Jackson Gatlin received Most Valuable Swimmer awards, as well as Male and Female Swimmer of the Year awards.

Rouse, who attends Lynn English, scored the most points on the team in addition to being named Lynn City Champion in the 100 backstroke. Rouse was also recognized as a Greater Boston League All-Star.

Lynn Classical was well-represented by Gatlin, who was the Lynn City Champion in the 100 butterfly and crowned GBL champion in the 100 backstroke on top of being named a GBL All-Star.

Coaches Charlie Rowe and Denise Silva presented the next award to senior captain Amanda Hughes, of Classical. Hughes was awarded the Michael and Michelle Conlon award.
