NAHANT — The Nahant Public Library always has an interesting slew of activities planned, but this upcoming event is a little different than usual.
The library will be offering community members a chance to learn more about Guinness beer with an ambassador from the brand, Mike Reardon on March 31 at 7 p.m., and they don’t even have to leave their houses to participate.
The event will be held virtually, and residents eager to sign up can reserve their digital seats by going to www.nahantlibrary.org.
“We’re so excited to chat with Mike Reardon, a Guinness Ambassador, a highly trained beer expert and storyteller who captivates Guinness lovers and audiences with the culinary and cultural history of this fantastic beer,” Library Director Nori Morgainstein said.
Reardon, a Massachusetts native, was raised just north of Boston. After building up the foundation of a successful hospitality and performing arts career, Reardon dedicated his efforts and expertise to being both a beer educator and quality specialist, and he has spent the last six years as a Guinness Brewery Ambassador.
The program is brought to the Nahant Public Library in collaboration with the Chelmsford, Groton and Tewksbury libraries in a partnership between libraries around Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
