Eric White, 48, of Lawton Avenue, was arrested at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday on charges of disturbing the peace.

Arrests

Jose Mateus Francisco-Kind, 22, of Colling Street, was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on Collins Street for charges of other department warrant, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, passing violation, and marked lanes violation. 

April Suzanne Panousos, 38, of Sterling Avenue, was arrested at 10:23 p.m. Wednesday for a charge of being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant

Dirt Bike/ATV/RV Complaint

A report of a dirt bike/ATV/RV complaint at 3:15 p.m. on Collins Street. A dirt bike was going in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. Arrest made.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 8:24 p.m. Wednesday at the Peabody Library on Main Street. Staff reported a male and female arguing. Could not locate/GOA 

Disturbance/Party/Music

A report of disturbance/party/music at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday on Lowell Street. Caller reported loud music and a loud party. Peace restored. 

DPW Callout

A report of a DPW callout at 9:45 p.m. at South Memorial School on Maple Street. DPW notified. 

Harassment

A report of harassment at 10:05 a.m. at the Police Department on Allens Lane. An investigation of harassment, cyber stalking, and identity fraud related to a case reported by an out-of-state victim occurred. The suspect resides in Peabody. 

Larceny

A report of larceny at 2:44 p.m. at Life Time Fitness on Andover Street. A party reported items stolen from a locker at the gym. Services rendered; a report at 5:40 p.m. on Oak Street. Caller reported her daughter had her AirPods stolen, and there is a GPS location on them. AirPods were returned. Investigated. 

License Plate Lost/Stolen

A report of a license plate lost/stolen at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday on Center Street. A report was made for a stolen front license plate. Investigated. 

Lost or Found Property

A report of lost or found property at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday at Tesla Peabody on Andover Street. Tesla reported a protestor left their phone behind. Investigated.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:59 a.m. on Central Street. It was reported that there was a hit-and-run with no injuries. Investigated; a report at 3:33 p.m. on Northend Street. Investigated; a report at 7:14 p.m. at Friendly’s on Andover Street. It was reported there was a two-car accident with injuries and entrapment. Investigated.

A report of solicitors at 10:17 a.m. Wednesday on John Road. Solicitors were reported in the area. Services rendered. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday at Peabody Veterans High School on Lowell Street. Party reported possible fraud. Investigated; a report at 5:22 p.m. at Peabody Municipal Light Plant on Warren Street. Party attempted to steal items from the plant. It was a misunderstanding. No action required. 

Traffic Hazard

A report of a traffic hazard at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday on Central Street at Elm Street. Officer reported a dangerous pothole. DPW notified. 

Unwanted Person/Guest

A report of an unwanted person/guest at 3:45 p.m. at Nothing Bundt Cakes on Andover Street. Caller reported a male party asking for money and littering. Investigated. 

SAUGUS

Arrests

George Leo Goodwin Jr., a 17-and-over male of Waban Street, was arrested at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday for receiving a stolen credit card, receiving stolen property, and breaking and entering into a vehicle/boat overnight for a felony.

Melissa Gomez Munera, a 17-and-over female of Saratoga Street, was arrested at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday for a charge of unlawful possession of a theft detection device deactivator or remover. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday at the Rail Trail on Laurel Street. Officers reported responding to the rail trail for a verbal argument. Peace restored. 

Motor Vehicles

A walk-in report of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday on Central Street. A man walked into the station to report his vehicle was broken into. Report taken. 

A walk-in report of a motor vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A woman went into the station to report her vehicle was struck. She believed it happened somewhere in Wakefield. Investigated. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 7:17 a.m. Wednesday on Denver Street. Verbal warning; a report at 9:49 a.m. on Ballard Street. Verbal warning; a report at 10:50 a.m. in the area of Lincoln Avenue. Vehicle towed; a report at 10:53 a.m. in the area of Lincoln Avenue. Verbal warning; a report at 2:49 p.m. on Talbot Street. Verbal Warning; a report at 4:28 p.m. on Serino Way at Sussex Street. Services rendered.   

Parking Violation

A report of a parking violation at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday on Vermont Avenue. Parking ticket issued.  

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 5:33 p.m. Wednesday at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported detaining a shoplifter. Arrest of a 17-and-over female; a report at 5:44 p.m. at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. Caller reported a shoplifter was being detained. Services rendered; a report at 9:08 p.m. at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. An employee reported a male removing the security tags off of a television in the electronics department. Report taken.
