LYNN

Arrests

Michael McGann, of Lynn, was arrested at 7:37 a.m. Monday on warrant charges of operating under the influence of drugs and possession of a Class B drug.

Daniel Gallagher, 64, of Ocean Street, was arrested at 8:46 a.m. Monday on a charge of willful and malicious destruction of property.

Jason Richard, of Hood Street, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. Monday on warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.

Rosita Miranda, 45, of La Grange Terrace, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. Monday on a charge of default warrant and a warrant charge of willful and malicious destruction of property.

Anthony Sacco, 38, of Harwood Street, was arrested at 5:39 p.m. Monday on a charge of possession of a Class B drug. He was also wanted on multiple warrants, including possession with intent to distribute Class A, B, and E drugs, and violation of municipal ordinance.

Ziarie Flores, 18, of Henry Avenue, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. Monday on charges of assault and battery on a police officer (two counts), resisting arrest, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Flores was also wanted on multiple warrants, including assault and battery (two counts) and assault and battery on a police officer (two counts).

911 Hang-ups

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:47 a.m. Monday on Silsbee Street, 3:44 a.m. on Walnut Street, 8:20 a.m. on Washington Street, 9:39 a.m. on North Common Street, 2:12 p.m. on Johnson Street, 3:29 p.m. on Central Avenue, and 4:20 p.m. on Flint Street.

Alarms

Reports of alarms at 7:24 a.m. Monday on Lynnway, 7:39 a.m. on Lynnway, 8:00 a.m. on Parkland Avenue, 11:34 a.m. on Ford Street, 5:54 p.m. at Huss Court and Warren Street, and 7:49 p.m. on Laighton Street.

Alarm: Fire

Fire alarms were reported at 11:22 a.m. Monday on Park Street, 3:07 p.m. on West Neptune Street, 4:01 p.m. on Lynnway, 8:27 p.m. on Robinson Street, and 9:42 p.m. on Summer Street.

Animals: All

Reports of animal-related incidents at 1:45 p.m. Monday on Lynnfield Street, 3:53 p.m. on Fay Street, and 3:09 p.m. on Rockmere Gardens.

Assault

An assault was reported at 11:32 a.m. Monday on Chestnut Street.

Area Checks

Officers checked areas at 2:13 a.m. Monday at Curwin Childcare Center on Curwin Terrace, 2:16 a.m. on Meadow Court, 7:16 a.m. at Washington Elementary on Blossom Street, 7:27 a.m. again at Washington Elementary, 7:31 a.m. at Lynn English on Goodridge Street, 7:34 a.m. at Tracy Elementary on Walnut Street, 10:35 a.m. on Western Avenue, 2:15 p.m. at English High on Goodridge Street, 2:15 p.m. at Classical High on O’Callaghan Way, 3:29 p.m. at Shelter on Washington Street, 10:02 p.m. on Great Woods Road, and 10:41 p.m. at Shelter on Washington Street.

Disturbances

Disturbances were reported at 12:12 a.m. Monday on Curwin Circle, 2:55 a.m. at Aspen Street and Oakville Street, 3:22 a.m. on Morris Street, 7:16 a.m. at St. Mary’s High on Tremont Street, 11:02 a.m. on Boston Street, 11:46 a.m. on Andrew Street, 11:56 a.m. on Chestnut Street, 1:43 p.m. on Oxford Street, 1:49 p.m. on Central Avenue, 4:53 p.m. on Atlantic Street, 5:52 p.m. on Essex Street, and 11:52 p.m. on Western Avenue.

Fights

Fights were reported at 3:50 p.m. Monday at Boston Street and Waverly Street and at 3:58 p.m. on Boston Street.

Hazardous Condition

A hazardous condition was reported at 1:22 p.m. Monday at Holyoke Street and O’Callaghan Way.

Injured Officer

Two incidents involving injured officers were reported at 11:44 p.m. Monday at Washington Street.

Larceny

Thefts were reported at 10:12 a.m. Monday at Dunkin Donuts on Market Street, 12:48 p.m. on Lewis Street, 12:50 p.m. on Kernwood Drive, and 5:21 p.m. on Atlantic Street.

Missing Person

Missing person reports came in at 9:03 a.m. Monday on Locust Street and at 6:19 p.m. on Clonakilty Lane.

Motor Vehicles

Accidents were reported at 12:23 p.m. Monday on Market Square, 3:55 p.m. at Market Street and State Street, 4:34 p.m. at Chatham Street and Western Avenue, 4:53 p.m. on Ocean Street, and 10:03 p.m. at Edwards Court and Western Avenue.

Traffic stops occurred throughout the day at numerous locations including Blossom Street, Washington Street, Ocean Street, Andrew Street, Centre Street and Market Square, Market Square, South Common Street, Lynnfield Street and Regina Road, Daytona Road and Lynnfield Street, Chestnut Street and Western Avenue, Essex Street and Tilton Place, and Franklin Street and Hanover Street.

A report of motor vehicle theft was filed at 10:48 a.m. Monday on Essex Street.

Neighborhood Problem

A neighborhood issue was reported at 7:55 p.m. Monday on Washington Street.

Noise

Noise complaints were received at 12:55 a.m. Monday on Robinson Street, 1:21 a.m. on Clairmont Street, and 11:45 p.m. on Minot Street.

Scam/Con

A scam was reported at 5:48 p.m. Monday on Baldwin Street.

Shoplifting

Shoplifting was reported at 4:10 p.m. Monday at Walmart on Lynnway.

Suspicious Activities

Suspicious activity was reported at 9:47 a.m. Monday on Jones Terrace, 10:50 p.m. on Roseville Square, and 11:21 p.m. on Lynnfield Street.

Trespassing

Trespassing incidents were reported at 3:43 a.m. Monday at Santander Bank on Market Square, 12:41 p.m. on Washington Street, 2:40 p.m. at Community Credit Union on Andrew Street, and 6:50 p.m. on Rogers Avenue.

Vandalism

Vandalism was reported at 2:04 p.m. Monday on Hathaway Street and at 5:11 p.m. on Parrott Street. Another incident occurred at 7:06 p.m. on Union Street.

A report of assisting a citizen at 7:39 p.m. Monday on Susan Road.

A report of building checks at 2:26 a.m. Monday on Maple Street.

A report of a general complaint at 9:18 p.m. Monday on Gregory Street.

A report of a crash alarm at 8:25 a.m. Monday on Village Street.

A report of a disturbance at 7:38 p.m. Monday on Florence Road.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 6:16 p.m. Monday on Londonderry Road.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 5:07 p.m. Monday on Humphrey Street and Thompson Road.

A report of suspicious activity at 6:46 p.m. Monday on Green Street.

SAUGUS

Assist Citizen

A walk-in report of citizen assistance at 12:15 a.m. Monday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station asking to speak to an officer. Report taken.9:32 a.m. Sunday at Balloonatics on Broadway. Caller reported finding a wallet that he wanted to return. Brought to station; a report at 8:05 p.m. at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. Services rendered; a report at 9:20 p.m. at Mike’s Place on Hamilton Street. Dispatched canceled by alarm company. 

Break and Enter Attempt

A report of an attempted break-in and entry at 11:58 p.m. Monday on Broadway. Caller reported seeing a party tug on multiple vehicle door handles and gain access to a few. Caller had video footage. Investigated, nothing found.

Bylaw Violation

A report of a bylaw violation at 9 p.m. Monday at Roller World Inc. on Broadway. Caller reported there was trash dumping going on to the rear of the plaza in front of his business. Investigated, nothing found. 

Found Property

A report of found property at 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:17 a.m. Monday at UPS Warehouse on the Salem Turnpike. Caller reported being involved in a single-vehicle accident with airbag deployment. Vehicle towed. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 6:57 p.m. Monday at Planet Fitness on Broadway. Caller reported a car was struck while in the parking lot. Report taken.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 6:21 p.m. Monday at Gospel Hall on Walnut Street. Citation warning.

Noise Complaint

A report of a noise complaint at 10:54 p.m. Monday on Granite Road. Caller reported that the occupants of the basement had loud music playing. She stated she tried to ask them to turn it down before but she is scared of them. Services rendered.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 12:23 a.m. Monday on Woodland Avenue. Caller reported he received a text that someone was going to tow a truck out of his driveway. Investigated. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 2:02 p.m. Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Main Street. Manager stated a man ordered food failed to pay and began loitering outside the patio area. Manager isn’t concerned with the bill and just requested the PD to remove the man. Returned home to family; a report at 3:13 p.m. Monday at Burger King on Broadway. Manager of Burger King called to report a male loitering in the parking lot harassing customers. Peace restored.
