DANVERS — North Shore Community College will celebrate four standout leaders and organizations at its 8th annual Champions Awards Breakfast, to be held April 8 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Danversport.
This year’s honorees include Bertolino Foods of Peabody, Richard and Margaret Bowen of Marblehead, State Representative Sean Reid of Lynn, and State Senate President Karen Spilka. The awards recognize their impact in areas ranging from public service to philanthropy and workforce development.

“Our distinguished 2025 Champions Award Honorees are transforming the future of our communities and our economy through investment in higher education,” said Foundation President John Fouhy.
Spilka is being honored for her public service and advocacy, while the Bowens will be recognized for their philanthropy and volunteer work. Bertolino Foods is being celebrated for its community impact. Reid, an NSCC Class of 2022 graduate, will receive the Rising Champions Award, highlighting his journey of transformation through community college education.
