LYNN

Arrests

Jayron Lucas Chajil, 30, of Western Avenue, was arrested at 1:54 a.m. Monday on charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Kenneth Brooks, 58, of Clinton Street, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. Monday on charges of possession of a Class B drug and aggravated assault and battery. He was also arrested on charges of a default warrant and a straight warrant.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 12:00 a.m. Monday on Henry Avenue, 12:28 a.m. on Franklin Street, 2:52 a.m. on Chestnut Street, 3:51 a.m. on Bloomfield Street, 4:18 a.m. on Baltimore Park, 8:27 a.m. on Suffolk Street, 10:42 a.m. on Cedar Brook Road, 11:06 a.m. on Hamilton Avenue, 11:17 a.m. on Essex Street, 11:48 a.m. at Classical High School on O’Callaghan Way, 12:42 p.m. on Grafton Street, 1:13 p.m. on Washington Street, 2:08 p.m. on Washington Street, 2:31 p.m. on Essex Street, 3:32 p.m. on Green Street, and 3:33 p.m. on Lynnway.

Alarms

Reports of alarms at 4:18 a.m. Monday on Lynnfield Street, 9:00 a.m. on Walden Street, 11:40 a.m. on Washington Street.

Reports of fire alarms at 6:06 a.m. Monday on Chestnut Street and 2:27 p.m. on Empire Street.

Area Checks

Reports of area checks at 7:31 a.m. Monday at Sisson Elementary School on Conomo Avenue, 7:34 a.m. at Cobbet Elementary School on Franklin Street, 7:37 a.m. at Breed Junior High on O’Callaghan Way, and 2:14 p.m. at Pickering on O’Callaghan Way.

Assault and Battery

An assault and battery was reported at 12:52 p.m. Monday at Fecteau-Leary Middle School on North Common Street.

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 4:15 a.m. Monday on Brightwood Terrace, 5:16 a.m. on Boston Street, 6:00 a.m. on Liberty Street, 7:03 a.m. on Oxford Street, 4:33 p.m. on Baker Street, and 6:32 p.m. on Washington Street.

Fight

A fight was reported at 2:01 p.m. Monday at 33 North Common Street.

Fire Reports

Reports of fires at 12:08 p.m. Monday and again at 12:08 p.m. on Union Street.

Hazardous Condition

A hazardous condition was reported at 12:08 p.m. Monday on Union Street.

Larceny

A larceny was reported at 12:50 p.m. Monday on Verona Street.

Missing Person

Reports of missing persons at 3:56 p.m. Monday on Lincoln Street, 5:37 p.m. on Essex Street, and 6:04 p.m. on Elmwood Avenue.

Motor Vehicle Accidents

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 1:14 a.m. Monday at Liberty Street and Market Street, 7:55 a.m. on Scranton Way, 11:13 a.m. on Brookline Street, 11:55 a.m. at Broad Street and Lewis Street, 4:01 p.m. at Brookline Street and Thurgood Marshall Middle School, and 9:31 p.m. at Mobil Gas Station on Chestnut Street.

A hit-and-run was reported at 7:20 a.m. Monday on Western Avenue and at 5:02 p.m. on North Common Street.

Noise Complaints

Reports of noise complaints at 12:02 a.m. Monday on Lafayette Park, 7:02 p.m. on High Rock Terrace, 8:56 p.m. on Lewis Street, and 10:28 p.m. on Hollingsworth Street.

Neighborhood Problem

A neighborhood problem was reported at 5:41 p.m. Monday on Lewis Street.

Shoplifting

Reports of shoplifting at 11:08 a.m. Monday on Lynnway and 8:49 p.m. at Walmart on Lynnway.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 4:34 a.m. Monday on Boston Street, 12:03 p.m. on Gail Road, 2:31 p.m. on Andrew Street, 10:31 p.m. on Fayette Street, and 10:33 p.m. on Essex Street.

Threats

Threats were reported at 7:36 p.m. Monday on Mount Pleasant Place.

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 1:25 a.m. Monday on Brookline Street, 12:25 p.m. on Boston Street, and 6:20 p.m. at Brothers Table on Willow Street.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism was taken at 2:32 p.m. Monday on Shepard Street.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 10:59 a.m. Monday on Pleasant Street and 8:25 p.m. on Evans Road.

A report of assisting a citizen at 10:01 p.m. Monday on Evans Road.

Reports of building checks at 5:37 a.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue and 6:42 a.m. on Community Road.

Complaint General

Reports of general complaints at 8:38 a.m. Monday on Front Street and 11:02 a.m. on Rockaway Avenue.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 1:49 a.m. Monday on Broughton Road.

Arrests

Andrew Kluge, 33, of Pomeworth Street, Stoneham, for operating under the influence of liquor over .08%, possession of an open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, and number plate violation at 12:28 a.m. on Lynnfield Street

Animal Control

A report of a loose white pitbull mix with a collar and black harness that appears to be injured at 3:57 a.m. on Newbury Street. The owner of the dog was sleeping in his car nearby. The dog was secured back with the owner; A report of a raccoon family taking shelter on the deck at 1:16 p.m. on Endicott Street. The party was given the number to a wildlife agency; A report of a dog on the porch at 1:45 p.m. on Lowell Street. The dog was reunited with the owner; A report of a white husky/lab mix with a green collar that went missing at 4:15 p.m. on Foster Street. Dog was found by the reporting party.

Disturbance

A report of ongoing loud noise at 10:39 p.m. on Essex Place. Officer spoke to the resident and she will be going to bed shortly.

Lost or Found Property

A report of a found credit/bank card at 5:30 p.m. on Allens Lane.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident with a parked vehicle at 5:05 p.m. on Douglas Street.

A report of people parking in handicapped spots at 6:56 p.m. on Overlook Trail. Officer spoke with the party, and she is handicapped; she just forgot to put the tag in her vehicle;

A report of a written warning for marked lanes violation at 2:38 a.m. on Andover Street. 

A report of an unregistered motor vehicle at 7:08 a.m. on Central Street.

Suspicious Activity

A report of a house possibly with controlled substance activity inside at 7:05 p.m. on Mill Street. All in order.SAUGUS

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 8 p.m. Monday at Eastern Bank on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm.

Lost Property

A walk-in report of lost property at 3:25 p.m. Monday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station and reported his black wallet with contents was lost at some point over the past few days. Services rendered.  

Motor Vehicles

A report of a break and entry into a motor vehicle at 3:33 a.m. Monday on Brookfield Lane. Caller reported her vehicle was broken into and rummaged through. Officer reported finding a small cosmetic bag on the street. Report taken; A report at 7:31 a.m. on Crimson Court. Officer reported a Jeep had money taken from it. Report taken; a report at 1:24 p.m. on Auburn Street. Caller reported three vehicles in her driveway had been broken into overnight. Report taken.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 8:29 p.m. Monday at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported they had a shoplifter detained. Report taken.  

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 5:15 p.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Elementary School on Hurd Avenue. Caller reported there was a black truck that appeared to be loading materials into the bed. Services rendered.

Reports of area checks at 10:48 a.m. Monday on Elm Place, 10:49 a.m. on Pitman Road, 12:46 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 9:42 p.m. on Upper Jackson park.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:48 a.m. Monday on Paradise Road, 11:30 a.m. on Foster Road, 2:50 p.m. on Humphrey Street, 4:43 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and Humphrey Street, 6:13 p.m. on Burrill Street and Railroad Avenue, 9:18 p.m. on Paradise Road, 9:27 p.m. on Paradise Road and Swampscott Avenue, 10:26 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.
